SCHOOL OF TOBACCO EXPERTISE

The duration of education was 3 years in 1978, extended to 4 years in 1982, and in 1983, through Law No. 2809, the vocational school was affiliated with Istanbul University's Faculty of Forestry. With the extension of the education duration to 4 years and affiliation with Istanbul University, the education and training gained a university structure, aiming to provide the necessary formation in the curriculum in line with the evolving needs of the tobacco and cigarette industry. Starting from 1987, graduates of the program were awarded the title of "Tobacco Industry Engineer," which was later changed to "Tobacco Technology Engineer" through the decision of the Higher Education Council dated March 1, 1991, and numbered 91.9.257.

SCHOOL OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES

Our college was established by the Council of Ministers on November 14, 2011, based on the letter of the Ministry of National Education dated October 21, 2011, and in accordance with the additional 30th article of Law No. 2809 dated March 28, 1983. Starting from the 2011-2012 academic year, English preparatory classes were established, and education is provided to students from various faculties and departments, including the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (Economics, Business Administration, Finance, and Public Administration), the School of Applied Sciences (International Trade, Banking and Finance), the Faculty of Engineering (Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering), the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (English Language and Literature), and the School of Physical Education and Sports (Sports Management, Coaching Education, and Physical Education and Sports Teaching) in the English Preparatory Program.
