Prof. Dr. Rana KİBAR
Rector

Rana KİBAR was born in Manisa Muradiye.

In 1998, she graduated from the Department of Physics at Ege University Faculty of Science.

In 1999, she started working as a Research Assistant in the Department of Physics at Celal Bayar University Faculty of Science and Literature.

In 2002, she completed her master's degree in the field of General Physics at the Institute of Science at Celal Bayar University Faculty of Science.

In 2006, she conducted academic studies at Sussex University in the United Kingdom.

In 2007, she completed her PhD in the field of General Physics at Ege University Institute of Science. In the same year, she started working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Celal Bayar University Faculty of Science and Literature.

In 2012, she was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of Physics. Since 2018, she has been working as a Professor Doctor in the Department of General Physics at Manisa Celal Bayar University (MCBÜ) Faculty of Science and Literature, and since 2016, she has also been serving as the Head of the same Department.

In 2019, she was appointed as the Director of the MCBÜ Tobacco Expertise Vocational School, and in 2021, she was appointed to the MCBÜ Board of Directors.

Her expertise includes luminescence, magnetic susceptibility, ion implantation, crystal characterization, and photoelectronic materials. Prof. Dr. Rana KİBAR, who has peer-reviewed for many international journals in her field, has published nearly 50 research articles, mostly at the international level, in the field of General Physics. She has supervised around 20 doctoral and master's students.

On August 1, 2023, with the appreciation and approval of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN, she was appointed as the Rector of MCBÜ.
