President of the Turkish National Agency, İlker Astarcı, visited Manisa Celal Bayar University Rector, Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, in her office. During the visit, opportunities for inter-institutional cooperation and European Union programs in the fields of youth, education, and sports — particularly Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) — were discussed in detail.

During the meeting held at the Rectorate building, President Astarcı and Rector Kibar focused on steps to strengthen the university’s internationalization vision. They evaluated new initiatives to enable students and academic staff to benefit more from international mobility programs, as well as opportunities for joint project development.

President İlker Astarcı provided information about the support offered by the Turkish National Agency to higher education institutions and emphasized the importance of increasing the international visibility of universities. Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar thanked President Astarcı for his kind visit, stating that the opportunities provided by the Agency hold great value for their university and that they aim to elevate cooperation to the highest level.

At the end of the visit, President İlker Astarcı signed the University’s Book of Honor, recording his thoughts and sentiments. In his note, he conveyed his best wishes for the university and its academic endeavors.
