Manisa Celal Bayar University Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oktay Üçer participated in the “University Hospitals Association Workshop” hosted by Van Yüzüncü Yıl University with the participation of rectors, hospital chief physicians, and administrators from various universities in Turkey.

The workshop, which addressed current issues facing university hospitals and shared solutions and best practices, covered topics such as the current state of university hospitals, financial sustainability, the provision of quality healthcare services, practical training processes for medical students, and digital transformation.

In his evaluation of the workshop, Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar emphasized the critical role of university hospitals in the healthcare system, stating, "Our university hospitals are not only centers for treating patients; they are also institutions where scientific research is conducted, new generations of physicians are trained, and public health is guided. Such joint meetings are of great importance in terms of solving our problems together and further strengthening our cooperation."
