Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar attended the opening ceremony of TEKNOFEST Istanbul, held from 17–21 September 2025 at Istanbul Atatürk Airport. The ceremony on the first day of the festival was organized under the leadership of the Türkiye Teknoloji Takımı Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology. The opening featured air shows and technology exhibitions, which attracted great interest.

TEKNOFEST Istanbul will remain open to visitors free of charge until 21 September. Throughout the festival, various activities such as air shows, concerts, simulation experience zones, and science shows will take place.
