The METUNATION team, which won first place in the “Sustainable Cities of the Future Hackathon” at TEKNOFEST 2025, along with other finalist team members, visited Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar.

During the visit, METUNATION team advisor Lecturer Mehmet Nuri Öğüt, team captain and Physics Department student Yunus Emre Gebeş, Computer Engineering students Ahmet Tağluk and Melih Tarık Aslan, Electrical-Electronics Engineering student Barış Güzel, and other finalist team members shared their success with Rector Kibar and thanked her for her support.

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar congratulated the METUNATION team and other finalist team members on their significant achievement. She emphasized that the outstanding performance of our students on national and international platforms is a great source of pride for both the university and the country.
