The opening ceremony of the Prostate Life Center, established in collaboration between the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality and the Prostate Life Association and set to operate within the MCBÜ Hafsa Sultan Hospital, took place.

Attending the opening ceremony of the center established in the Urology Department of the Hospital were Manisa Governor Enver Ünlü, Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Cengiz Ergün, Rector of Manisa Celal Bayar University Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, Vice Rectors, Provincial Health Director Specialist Dr. Erol Karaca, Chief Physician Prof. Dr. İsmet Topçu, Head of the Urology Department of the Faculty of Medicine and founding President of the Prostate Life Association Prof. Dr. Talha Müezzinoğlu, hospital management, academic staff, and hospital personnel.

Prof. Dr. Talha Müezzinoğlu, Head of the Department of Urology at the Faculty of Medicine and founding President of the Prostate Life Association, and Chief Physician Prof. Dr. İsmet Topçu stated that within the clinic, 5 private rooms and 1 suite have been renovated, and here, specifically for Uro-oncological cancer patients, multidisciplinary health care services as well as education and care to improve their quality of life will be provided.

In her opening speech, Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, the Rector of MCBÜ, expressed that the center would play a significant role in the fight against prostate cancer. Kibar stated, "The Prostate Life Center is designed to provide the best service to our patients. In our center, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation services will be provided to our patients by an expert team," and thanked Mayor of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Cengiz Ergün for his support in establishing the service.

Mayor Ergün expressed that the center would be a source of morale and motivation for prostate cancer patients. Ergün said, "I believe that the Prostate Life Center will be a beacon of hope for our patients and their families. I thank everyone who contributed to the establishment of this center."

Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Ünlü emphasized that every investment made in the field of health contributes to the welfare of society, and highlighted the importance of early diagnosis, stating that prostate cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in men. Ünlü stated that the Prostate Life Center would make significant contributions to the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation processes of prostate cancer patients.

Following the speeches, Governor Ünlü, Mayor Ergün, Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, and protocol members cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Prostate Life Center. Then, the center was toured, and information was received from the authorities.
