The winners of the competition titled 'Women Leaders in Technology' organized by Microsoft Turkey have been announced.

Doğa Ülkü, a student from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Manisa Celal Bayar University's Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, won the 'Young Technology Star' award with her digital projects developed for special hiring bot for disabled individuals, a mobile application on electronic waste, and various boot camps.

The awards, determined in the categories of 'Young Technology Star', 'Women Leader Creating a Difference with New Technologies', 'Successful Female Entrepreneur of the Year (Start-up)', 'Successful Female Educator of the Year', and 'Future Shining Female Leader / Jury Special Award', were presented to the winners at a ceremony held at the Istanbul Raffles Hotel.

Speaking at the ceremony where the awards were presented by managers from Microsoft's South East and EMEA regions, Elif Acar Özgüner, Vice President of Corporate Solution Sales and Director of Technology Experience Center at Microsoft Turkey, stated that they had difficulty in choosing among the very valuable candidates this year as well. Özgüner emphasized that they focused on selecting creative and inspiring individuals who can use technology in an applicable and effective format, stating, 'We believe that each project contributes uniquely and lays the foundation for future technological innovations.
