The METUNATION Team, established under the leadership of Manisa Celal Bayar University in collaboration with Middle East Technical University and Boğaziçi University, won first place in Turkey in the “Sustainable Cities of the Future Hackathon”, organized by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change during TEKNOFEST.

The team contributed innovatively to the vision of sustainable urban development with their project “GeoSocial: Turkey’s Regional Panorama”, which utilized social media mapping.

This significant achievement stands as a strong example of how young people from different universities, guided by their mentors, can create value for the future of our country through interdisciplinary collaboration and technology-focused solutions.
