The 29th Sports Activities, with the participation of Manisa Celal Bayar University staff, commenced at the MCBU Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Campus Indoor Sports Hall. The opening ceremony was attended by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çetin, and General Secretary Instructor Erhan Doğan.

Speaking at the opening of the 29th Sports Activities, Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar stated that sports are a unifying force and that the university will always promote sports.

The sports activities, which began with the first kick by Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar on April 16, involving the staff of Salihli Vocational School and the Strategy Development Directorate, will feature four branches: futsal, tennis, basketball, and volleyball.

The 29th Sports Activities will conclude on May 17 with final matches played according to the results of the fixtures.
