The project titled “Evaluation of the Effectiveness of a Newly Developed Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Simulation Model”, which will be carried out by Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Midwifery faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selda İldan Çalım, was entitled to be supported within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1005 - National New Ideas and Products Research Support Program.
As researchers in the project, Prof. Dr. Fehime Esra Özer, Faculty Member of the Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, Izmir Tınaztepe University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Uysal, Ege University Faculty of Nursing, Department of Pediatrics Nursing, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Kahraman, MCBU Graduate Education Institute, Department of Midwifery, PhD Student Specialist Midwife Merve Türemen and MCBU Graduate Education Institute, Department of Mechatronics Engineering, Graduate Student Engineer Ahmetcan Süngür.
The project, which aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a new simulation model used in neonatal resuscitation training and to improve the skills of health professionals in this field more effectively, will make a significant contribution to training methods in neonatal care.
