Manisa Celal Bayar University Technical Sciences Vocational School Holds Its 12th Graduation Ceremony

The 12th Graduation Ceremony of Manisa Celal Bayar University’s Technical Sciences Vocational School for the 2024–2025 academic year was held with great participation at the Şehit Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Campus Recreation Area.

The ceremony was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Kadir Ay, Rector’s Advisors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emriye Ay and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Erkan Turan, department heads, guests, academic and administrative staff, students, and their families.

After the national anthem and a moment of silence, the Student Quality Ambassador Ece Duman delivered a speech on behalf of the graduates, stating that graduation is not an end but a new beginning. “These certificates are a sign of the responsibility on our shoulders,” she said.

In his speech, the Director of the Technical Sciences Vocational School, Prof. Dr. Cihangir Alaca, emphasized the significant progress the school had made through collaborations with the industry, ongoing projects, and student-centered practices. He stated, “We are strengthening our applied education infrastructure and providing a learning environment in close cooperation with the industry. We truly believe that the graduates we send out today will make important contributions to our country’s production power and social development.”

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Kadir Ay highlighted Manisa Celal Bayar University’s mission to prepare young people as equipped individuals for life, saying, “You are not just graduates, but important actors who will shape the future of our country. Our university has not only equipped you with professional skills but has also instilled the awareness of being individuals committed to ethical values and sensitive to society. I believe you will make the best use of these gains in your future lives.”

After the ceremony, success certificates were presented to the students who ranked in the top positions. All graduates were then handed symbolic graduation certificates. The ceremony concluded with a jubilant and enthusiastic cap-throwing moment by the students.
