At the European Championships held in Ganja, Azerbaijan, MCBÜ Sports Club athletes Ayşe Begüm Onbaşı and Can Derviş, who represented our country and university, made us proud with their successful performances.

Competing in the women's singles category, Ayşe Begüm Onbaşı achieved a great success by winning the silver medal with 20,000 points in her series. In the doubles category, Onbaşı and her teammate Can Derviş won the bronze medal by scoring 19,350 points with their performance.

We congratulate our athletes who successfully represented our university on the international stage and wish them continued success. We also thank National Team Coach Harun Çelik and MCBÜ Faculty of Sports Sciences instructor Gürkan Er for their contributions to this important achievement by our athletes.
