Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Communication sent off its first graduates of the 2023-2024 academic year with a Graduation Ceremony held at the Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center on the Health Campus.

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, Deputy Governor Erhan Günay, Vice Rector Ahmet Çetin, Secretary General Erhan Doğan, academic and administrative staff, families and students attended the ceremony.

Faculty valedictorian Gözde Kaya made a speech on behalf of the graduates.

In her speech, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Meral Özçınar stated that they gave their first graduates from the Public Relations and Publicity Department of the faculty and said, "In general, Faculties of Communication train communication professionals. It is obvious that the media has become a very important communication tool in recent years. It is even considered as a fourth power after the legislature, executive and judiciary. We are aware of this and have trained our students with this awareness. After today, we are much more hopeful for the media community because our graduates are entering the media community.

Dear students, we trust you as all your teachers. Your departure from here today is very meaningful for us, may your path be clear."

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, who started her speech by mentioning the Palestinian issue as in every Graduation Ceremony, wished Allah's mercy to those who died in this process and a speedy recovery to the injured.

Rector Prof. Dr. Kibar stated that as Manisa Celal Bayar University, they are very happy and proud that the Faculty of Communication gave its first graduates and said, "Dear graduates, today is your day. As MCBU Faculty of Communication, you are now in the sector. We sincerely believe that things will change for the better with your participation in the communication sector.

Dear families, we have endeavored to raise your children, whom you gave to us four years ago, at the highest level. I congratulate you on this graduation of your children.

Dear graduates, as Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Communication, we have great confidence in you and we are always behind you. We believe that if our flag will fly higher in a way befitting Turkey's century, if we will live more proud days as a nation, if we will be a stronger state, it will be thanks to you. I wish you a happy graduation and may your future life be full of health, happiness and success. May God help and assist you in your path and good fortune."

The ceremony ended with the awarding of certificates of achievement to the graduates, after which all graduates received their graduation certificates, the recitation of the professional oath and the cap throwing ceremony.
