The graduation ceremony for the 2023-2024 academic year of the Faculty of Theology at Manisa Celal Bayar University took place at the Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center on the Health Campus.

The ceremony was attended by the university's Rector, Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çetin and Prof. Dr. Oktay Üçer, protocol members, academic and administrative staff, families, and students.

The event began with a speech by the top student of the faculty, Zeynep Burhan, representing the graduates.

Dean of the Faculty of Theology, Mustafa Hocaoğlu, expressed his sentiment towards the students, likening them to fruits of paradise, stating, "Because I did not allocate the time I devoted to my own child to you students. May Allah grant you also the fruits of paradise. May Allah not separate you from the Quran and the Prophet, and may He open your fortunes."

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar addressed the issue of Palestine, saying, "I want to express once again that we will never forget and will not let anyone forget the images coming from Palestine. I hope this oppression will end as soon as possible. I extend my condolences to those who passed away during this process and wish speedy recovery to the injured."

Prof. Dr. Kibar thanked the academic and administrative staff, as well as the parents, who contributed to the students receiving their diplomas, saying, "Dear young people, today is your day. The education you received at the Faculty of Theology is not limited to religious knowledge alone. You have also learned human values, virtue, and how to be more beneficial to society. Your responsibility in the future is immense. You need to treat people with the knowledge you have learned from your faculty. For this knowledge to be effective on the other side, we first need to act with this knowledge. Therefore, I wish you a life in accordance with the education you received from the Faculty of Theology in your future life. I wish your future life to be filled with health, happiness, and success. May your graduation be blessed, may your path and fortune be open, and may Allah be your helper and supporter."

The ceremony continued with the presentation of certificates to the students who achieved honors and concluded with the traditional cap throwing ceremony.
