Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Fine Arts, Design, and Architecture Bids Farewell to the Graduates of the 2024-2025 Academic Year

The graduation ceremony for the 2024-2025 academic year of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design, and Architecture at Manisa Celal Bayar University was held in an enthusiastic ceremony at the Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center, located in the Health Campus.

In her speech on behalf of the graduates, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design, and Architecture top student Gizem Örük thanked her professors who guided her throughout her education, her family for their unwavering support, and all the friends she journeyed with. She said, “From now on, we are ready to contribute to our society with the knowledge and experience we have gained.”

Vice Rector and Acting Dean of the Faculty Prof. Dr. Oktay Üçer, speaking at the ceremony, stated that graduation is not only an end but also the beginning of new journeys. He emphasized that the graduates' years of hard work and effort have been crowned with this success and said, “Architecture and music are among the most meaningful forms of expression in human history. You will now contribute to society as representatives of these fields and become individuals who beautify life.”

Prof. Dr. Oktay Üçer thanked the faculty members for their dedicated work and expressed gratitude to the parents for their contributions and support in the success of their children.

Calling on the graduates to remain open to lifelong learning, stay committed to ethical values, and courageously express their creativity, Prof. Dr. Üçer concluded his speech with, “May your path be illuminated by the guidance of art and science, and may your future be filled with hope.”

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of achievement certificates to the graduates, a music performance, and the traditional tossing of caps.
