MCBÜ Faculty of Education and Demirci Vocational School Send Off its Graduates with Enthusiasm and Pride

Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Education and Demirci Vocational School sent off the graduates of the 2023-2024 Academic Year with a ceremony held at District Governor İbrahim Ethem Akıncı Stadium.

Demirci District Governor Adem Kaya, Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, Demirci Mayor Erkan Kara, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çetin, protocol members, academic and administrative staff, students and families attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, which started with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, Seda Oğuz made a speech on behalf of the graduates of the Vocational School and Sakine Atalay and Miraç Dilsiz made speeches on behalf of the graduates of the Faculty of Education.

Demirci Vocational School Director Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Ali Daşman emphasized in his speech that the graduates, whom he defined as "qualified and innovative individuals of tomorrow", should be open to knowledge, not lose their curiosity and be brave.

Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Fatma Şaşmaz Ören stated that the Faculty of Education, which has a long history of 60 years, aims to educate prospective teachers not only to gain knowledge but also to raise them as well-equipped individuals who can renew themselves, solve problems and develop social skills. In this direction, he expressed his expectation that prospective teachers will successfully continue the education they receive and become useful individuals both for themselves and for our country.

Demirci Mayor Erkan Kara stated that they will continue to increase their support for students and educational institutions that add beauty and value to the district and wished the graduates of the Faculty of Education and Vocational School great success in their future lives.

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar said, "The destruction and drama caused by Israel in the Middle East, which has ignored all legal norms, humanitarian and moral values since the day it was founded, has deeply wounded the conscience of humanity many times." Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar said that she hoped that the persecution and brutality experienced in Gaza, Rafah, East Turkistan and Arakan would end as soon as possible.

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar addressed the families who raise their children with great devotion and make all kinds of sacrifices for them in their education processes as in every field, and said: "We hand over our students to you as professional teachers and sector experts who have gained scientific knowledge and skills, respect the values of the society, are mentally, emotionally, physically, socially and spiritually balanced and strong. I wish our graduates success in their future lives."

In the program, which continued with the presentation of plaques and gifts to the ranking students, the plaque of the first of the semester to the age log, the presentation of temporary graduation certificates to all graduates, the students who recited the professional oath, threw their caps into the air and celebrated their graduation joy together.
