An "Introduction and Orientation Program" was organized for the international students joining the Manisa Celal Bayar University family in the 2024-2025 academic year.

The program, held at the Prof. Ümit Doğay Arınç Cultural Center, was a collaboration between the Manisa Celal Bayar University Language Teaching Application and Research Center, the International Relations Coordination, the Student Affairs Department, and the Manisa Provincial Directorate of Migration Management. The event was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çetin and Prof. Dr. Kadir Ay.

Before the program, the international students studying at Manisa Celal Bayar University had the opportunity to meet and chat with Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar during a reception held for them.

In his opening speech, the Director of the Language Teaching Application and Research Center (DİLMER), Prof. Dr. Suat Donuk, emphasized that the international students admitted to the university are individuals with strong academic competence and great potential to contribute to the university.

Expressing his happiness at meeting the international students, the Coordinator of International Relations, Prof. Dr. Halil Babacan, stated that the doors of the coordination office are always open to students.

After the protocol speeches, the students were given information about Erasmus programs by Dr. Devrim Zerengök from the International Relations Coordination. The program also included a presentation by Assistant Director of DİLMER, Dr. Tuba Arı Özdemir, on the activities of DİLMER, and a presentation on residence procedures by Migration Specialist Şakir Taşyurt from the Provincial Directorate of Migration.

The introduction and orientation program ended with a Q&A session with the unit authorities.
