The 2024-2025 Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Business Administration at Manisa Celal Bayar University was held with great enthusiasm at the Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center on the Health Campus.

The ceremony was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Kadir Ay, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Prof. Dr. Hatice Yurtsever, academic and administrative staff, guests, families, and students.

Murat Yiğit Uçar, the top student of the Faculty of Business Administration, shared his feelings at the graduation ceremony, emphasizing how quickly their student years passed:

“I believe that this period, during which we could not fully appreciate the value of time, will remain in all our memories and be fondly remembered in the future. Neither exam stress, nor misunderstandings, nor fatigue will remain; only the friendships we built, the memories we shared, and the companionships will last.

Dear professors, you gave us not only knowledge but also critical thinking skills, the ability to question, and patience. Of course, at times we also tested your patience. Even when you were tired, you never neglected us. You prepared us not just for a profession, but for life. If we can stand here today, it is because of the foundation you laid. Endless thanks to all of you.

Our beloved families, this success is not ours alone. Every parent, aunt, uncle, sibling, grandparent, or any relative who has unconditionally supported us has contributed greatly to our presence here today. This graduation ceremony is our shared pride. I hope the journey ahead treats us well and that we remember these days not only with longing but also with love. I wish happiness that lasts a lifetime for all of us.”

Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Prof. Dr. Hatice Yurtsever, in her speech, provided brief information about the faculty and thanked the academic and administrative staff who contributed to the education of the students. Drawing attention to the role of families in the graduation, Yurtsever said, “You raised your children with care and entrusted them to us; we equipped them with knowledge, and today we send them off as valuable individuals to the nation and country.”

Addressing the graduates, Prof. Dr. Hatice Yurtsever said:

“Today, you are not just receiving a diploma but graduating with an identity you will carry throughout your life. Whatever your role will be, never forget that you are ambassadors of this faculty. Our trust in you is complete. May your path be open, and your future bright.”

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar emphasized in her speech at the graduation ceremony that families share the greatest pride on this special day along with the students, saying, “Sharing this joy with you is extremely precious to us.”

In her speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar also referred to ongoing humanitarian dramas and conflicts around the world, stating, “I hope that the pains that have been continuing for a long time, especially in Gaza, Palestine, and many parts of the world—no longer describable even with the words war or oppression—will come to an end as soon as possible.”

Rector Kibar expressed happiness in sending off the graduates from the Business Administration, Economics, and Finance departments into professional life and thanked the faculty members and administrative staff for their efforts.

Addressing the families, she said, “You entrusted your children to us, and we are returning them to you as individuals you can be proud of after equipping them with knowledge,” expressing gratitude for the families’ sacrifices and support.

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar addressed the graduates with these words:

“University life was one of the most special periods of your education. Today you have reached the end of this period. The diplomas you have received will be valuable keys for you in your future life. I sincerely believe that you will always carry the rightful pride of being a graduate of Manisa Celal Bayar University. Whatever profession you choose, have an ideal and a purpose. Never give up on honesty, diligence, truthfulness, and compassion along this path. As we send you off today as graduates, I also say ‘welcome among us’ as part of our university community. Remember, the doors of our university will always be open to you.”

The program ended with the awarding of certificates of achievement to students who ranked, the handing out of diplomas to all graduates, and the traditional tossing of caps.
