President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that the İŞKUR Youth Program, which allows university students to gain work experience while continuing their education, will be expanded. The program’s quota has been increased to 150,000 students this year.

Last academic year, the program, which attracted significant interest, served 100,000 students. In the new term, it will reach 150,000 university students. Conducted in cooperation with state universities through İŞKUR, the program not only provides students with practical work experience but also offers training in areas such as job search skills, financial literacy, CV preparation, and interview techniques.

The program allows students to gain work experience without disrupting their studies. Participants can work up to three days a week, enabling them to study and earn income simultaneously. Students will receive a daily allowance of 1,083 TL, meaning a student attending 5 days a month can earn approximately 5,415 TL, while one attending 14 days can earn about 15,162 TL. Additionally, short-term social security premiums for students will be covered by İŞKUR. Students can apply through their universities or campuses at genclik.iskur.gov.tr.

Opportunities for 1,524 Students in Manisa

Within the scope of a protocol signed between the Manisa Provincial Directorate of Labor and Employment Agency and Manisa Celal Bayar University, 1,524 students in Manisa will gain the opportunity to gain work experience while continuing their education.

Günseli Kervan Tufan, Director of the Manisa Employment Agency, highlighted the benefits for students:
"Within the İŞKUR Youth Program, 1,524 quotas have been allocated for students at Manisa Celal Bayar University. This program offers a great opportunity for our university students to gain work experience and benefit financially."

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar emphasized the program’s significance for students:
"The İŞKUR Youth Program is a valuable opportunity for our students to develop their careers, familiarize themselves with the labor market, and prepare for post-graduation employment in a more equipped manner. As a university, we prioritize not only the academic but also the professional development of our students.
