The 4th Sardes Money Congress, which is on its way to becoming a tradition, was jointly organized by Manisa Celal Bayar University Salihli Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Salihli Vocational School.
This year, the congress was held under the main theme “The Future of Money: Interdisciplinary Approaches within the Framework of Sustainability”, bringing together scholars from various universities and institutions.

In his opening speech, Dean of the Salihli Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Osman Murat Koçtürk emphasized the importance of scientific congresses, stating:

“Scientific congresses are not only platforms where research results are shared but also environments where scientists come together to generate new ideas and advance collective thinking.”
Expressing his gratitude to all partner institutions, distinguished scholars, and the university administration for their support, he concluded his remarks by saying:
“We sincerely thank all stakeholders, valuable scientists, and our university management for their contributions to the realization of our congress.”

MCBU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oktay Üçer expressed his satisfaction with the organization of the fourth edition of the congress and emphasized the scientific importance of such events, which enable the transfer of knowledge from experts.

Prof. Dr. Üçer noted that the participation of fourteen partner universities and the strong involvement of external participants demonstrated the wide impact of the congress.
He also highlighted Manisa Celal Bayar University’s strong position in studies related to sustainability, and congratulated the organizing committee for choosing a theme that reflects the global need for sustainability in all areas — including economics, finance, and health.

The 4th Sardes Money Congress, attended by academics from 14 different institutions, concluded as a successful national scientific event. Following the opening session, the congress continued throughout the day from 11:00 to 14:30, featuring 12 simultaneous sessions.

A total of 50 papers were presented, focusing on current and interdisciplinary approaches related to the main theme. The congress program comprehensively addressed the theme through sessions such as:

• Historical and Institutional Financial Structures

• Tax Policies and Fiscal Dynamics

• Climate, Agriculture, and Foreign Trade

• Public Policies

• Cryptocurrency, Digitalization, and Society

• Green Finance, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence

With its comprehensive program and nationwide participation, the 4th Sardes Money Congress made valuable contributions to the scientific community and concluded successfully.
