Manisa Celal Bayar University (MCBU) hosted another important event aimed at preparing students for professional life. The “İŞKUR Youth Program Job Search Skills Training” seminar, organized in collaboration with the Manisa Provincial Directorate of the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), was held at the Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center on the university’s Health Campus and saw a high level of participation.
The opening ceremony was attended by MCBU Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, Manisa İŞKUR Provincial Director Günseli Kervan Tufan, Manisa Social Security Institution Director Buket İnce, academic staff, and numerous students.
In her speech, İŞKUR Provincial Director Günseli Kervan Tufan stated: “The İŞKUR Youth Program, launched with the support of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, offers young people the opportunity to both become acquainted with the business world and gain essential competencies. Our valuable collaboration with Manisa Celal Bayar University is a strong investment in the future of our youth.”
MCBU Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar emphasized the critical importance of equipping young individuals with the skills to participate effectively in the labor market for the future of the country. She expressed her satisfaction at being part of this event held within the framework of the “İŞKUR Youth Program” protocol signed between MCBU and the Manisa İŞKUR Provincial Directorate.
Highlighting that the university does not only provide theoretical knowledge but also partners with the business sector to prepare students for professional life, Prof. Dr. Kibar also noted that a total of 372 students from the Şehzadeler, Yunusemre, and Saruhanlı campuses attended the training.
As part of the program, expert trainers delivered sessions on "Introduction to İŞKUR Services" and "Job Search Skills Training." The seminar concluded with a group photo.
