Manisa Celal Bayar University Ahmetli Vocational School sent off its 29th graduates with a splendid ceremony attended by a large number of participants.

The event was attended by Ahmetli District Governor Mehmet Akif Temür, Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, Ahmetli Mayor Fuat Mintaş, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çetin, district protocol members, academic and administrative staff, and the families of the students.

The top student, Serap Yayla from the Office Management and Executive Assistant Program, gave a speech on behalf of the graduates.

In his opening speech, Ahmetli Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alpay Bizbirlik said, "Our vocational school, which serves with the ideal of raising individuals who are open to change and innovation, competent in their field, possess professional knowledge and work ethics, and aim for continuous development, strives to support its students not only through educational activities but also through organized social activities."

Bizbirlik expressed that the students will add value to the district, region, and country in their future endeavors: "With your knowledge and the ideas you generate, you will be individuals who advance our country. We must all remember that you young people are the hopes of this nation. May your path always be clear, your heads held high, and your minds filled with the wisdom and knowledge you have gained."

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar congratulated the 29th term graduates, saying, "So far, we have graduated 6,141 people from our Ahmetli Vocational School. I am confident that these graduates will successfully represent our institution in their professional lives with the knowledge and experience they have gained. I wish our graduating students success in their future endeavors."

Ahmetli District Governor Mehmet Akif Temür stated, "I would like to thank Ahmetli Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alpay Bizbirlik, Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sibel Aybarç Mora, Deputy Director Lecturer Faruk Özbay, and Vocational School Secretary İsmet Özkan for their efforts in ensuring the uninterrupted continuation of educational activities, their contributions to our work here, and for organizing such a ceremony. I also wholeheartedly congratulate you, dear families, for raising such bright young individuals. Dear students, never forget the efforts and sacrifices your families have made for you. I congratulate our graduating friends."

Following the awarding of the top students, Serap Yayla, the top student, nailed the first-place plaque onto the success board. The Graduation Ceremony concluded with the symbolic awarding of graduation certificates to the students, the reading of the Professional Oath by student representative Gamze Ürgüt, and the traditional cap throwing.
