Turkey University Sports Federation President Prof. Dr. Mehmet Günay, Manisa Youth and Sports Provincial Director Yunus Öztürk, Faculty of Sports Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Murat Taş, and their delegation visited Manisa Celal Bayar University Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar in Manisa, the candidate city for the 2028 European University Games.

During the visit, information was shared about the candidacy process for the 2028 European University Games and a series of visits that the EUSA (European University Sports Association) delegation will make in March.

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar stated that Manisa Celal Bayar University is ready to provide all kinds of support for the 2028 European University Games and will mobilize all its resources to organize the games in the best possible way. Rector Kibar expressed her belief that the games will make a significant contribution to Manisa and enhance the city's international visibility.

Turkey University Sports Federation President Prof. Dr. Mehmet Günay expressed that Manisa is enthusiastic and eager to host the games, believing that the city has the necessary infrastructure to organize the games excellently.
