As it is known, the year 2024 was declared as the "Year of Retirees" by our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Within the scope of the "Year of Retirees," the Rectorate of Manisa Celal Bayar University organized a program where recently retired personnel from our university came together. The program, held at the Dumanlıdağ Restaurant in the Şehit Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Campus, was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çetin, Prof. Dr. Kadir Ay, Prof. Dr. Oktay Üçer, and General Secretary Instructor Erhan Doğan.

Speaking at the program, which took place in a friendly atmosphere, Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar said, "May your retirement years be a period where you will accumulate much happier memories with health, peace, and all your loved ones."

Emphasizing that retirees' connection with our university is not severed by retirement, Rector Kibar said, "You are very valuable to us. The doors of our university are always open to you. We highly value your opinions and believe that you will always support us with the experience and knowledge you have gained here.

While we continue our duties, we value the support of all our staff, both administrative and academic, without discrimination. Not only in such programs but also whenever you have time, we would be very pleased if you visit us and have a cup of tea with us. I thank you all for not leaving us alone today by accepting our invitation. I wish you a blessed retirement life."
